Brickyard Golf Club

Brickyard Golf Club

To provide a golfing experience of the highest order whereby individuals can enjoy and experience the beauty and challenge of a championship golf course; where members can socialize with family and friends in a club environment consisting of excellent cuisine and warm, friendly personalized service. The Brickyard Golf Club was originally established as Riverside Golf and Country Club in 1961. In December of 2003, brothers Kenneth and Alfred Sams, Jr., owners of Cherokee Brick & Tile Co., purchased the Club with a vision to construct a true championship-caliber golf course. Former PGA TOUR player, Mark McCumber, redesigned the golf course and it reopened in 2005 as the Brickyard at Riverside ? the name reflects their frequent use of brick throughout the property. The Brickyard Golf Club was ranked the 15th ?Best In State? by Golf Digest in 2011 and is the host site for the Annual Brickyard Collegiate Golf Championship. The transformation of this natural asset included landscaping, reconfiguring fairways, tees and green sites, and more effectively incorporating lakes and streams into the golf experience. Now measuring over 7,200 yards from the back tees, this par 72 championship course has a rating of 74.7, and a slope rating of 140. The clubhouse, located on the property?s highest point, has been renovated using an expanded footprint of the old clubhouse. The Brickyard Golf Club is now an immaculately maintained private club. Amenities include both fine dining facilities as well as casual options, a scenic outdoor pavilion with flat screen TV and fireplace, full bar and grill, dining facilities for private events or business meetings, and a fully-stocked pro shop.
